About me

I’m John Wilson, a Strength and Conditioning coach and owner of Wilson Precision Training LLC. I started this business with one goal in mind. To help others succeed in their fitness goals. I combine evidence-based programming, careful assessment, and clear communication to build training that fits real life—whether you’re chasing performance, rebuilding after setbacks, or just trying to feel better day to day.

I started training when I was 12 years old with my brother and concrete weights and immediately became obsessed. That obsession carried into my high school years, my time in the 82nd ABN and Special Operations where I had to learn what training actually meant and how to do it with purpose. I had to learn how to overcome injuries and work around complex training problems. All of these experiences have carried me to where I am today.

Now, as a strength and conditioning coach, I take everything I learned from those years—structure, discipline, problem-solving under pressure and use it to help people by building programs that actually fit their lives, move them out of pain or stagnation, and give them the confidence that comes from knowing they’re genuinely prepared for what they care about most.

Not everyone needs the same level of support. Some people need a proven program they can start today, some need training built specifically for their body, schedule, and goals, and some want full coaching with accountability, adjustments, and habit support. Wilson Precision Training is built to offer all three.
